INDUCTION PROGRAMME: The Induction Programme is conducted at the beginning of each academic session for first year students of every course to provide introductory knowledge about Korba City College and its rules and regulations.
PERSONALITY DIAGNOSTIC & DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (PDDC): At Korba City College an independent PDDC centre is operating to diagnose and develop the traits of personality of every student. A well-defined psychoanalytical testing system is adopted which tells the students about interests, skill level, aptitude, personality traits etc. along with comprehensive and individual oriented treatments plan. This further ensures the enhancement of overall personality spectrum of the students to make them more employable.
SPOKEN ENGLISH CLASSES: The students who join Korba City College from Hindi medium background are given a comprehensive capsule programme covering basics of English so as to enable them to grasp the course contents effectively.
ASSIGNMENTS: At Korba City College, in every subject written assignments are given by the subject faculty to ensure in-depth understanding and conceptualization of subject. The subject faculty returns the same to the students after markings and remarks for further improvements.
GUEST LECTURES: Korba City College conducts Guest Lectures frequently inviting professionals, subject specialists, eminent educationists, etc. from Academic field, Corporate world and Govt. sectors to broaden outlook of the students for a successful career.
SEMINARS & CONFERENCES: As a routine , national and international level seminars and conferences are organised by Korba City College , on various subjects and topics relevant to education to provide exposure and opportunities of meeting renowned personalities.
SPORTS & CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES: Various sports competitions such as Kho-Kho, Chess, Cricket, Hocky, Football, Table Tennis , etc. are being organised at University /State/National levels. Various kinds of co-curricular activities viz. dance, drama, mimicry, music, literary competitions are being organised routinely.
REMEDIAL & DOUBT CLEARING CLASSES: Korba City College conducts remedial and doubt clearing clasees to ensure better learning to the educationally disadvantaged students. These classes do help a lot to these students who have not been able to perceive the course contents during the regular classes.
