BLOOD DONATION CAMP” On 27/2/2013

1.Pathology department organized a “BLOOD DONATION CAMP” On 27/2/2013 On this occasion Dr. R.C.Joshi (Blood bank officer-Red cross society) gave lecture on advantages and importance of blood donation. He focused on how much it is beneficial to our society. As a result of this motivation , near about 60 blood donars (staff and students) came forward and donated their blood. Pathology laboratory staff and BMLT students were also participated in this programme and helped in the procedure during blood donation.

2.Dr. Manish Soni, Assit. Professor, Deptt. Of Pathology attended a training programme on “ NETWORK INDUCTION” held in Mumbai (Study of hormones)which will be helpful in understanding the hormonal disease like Thyroid, Goitur etc.

3.Under the guidance of Mrs. Nagmi Aliya, Assit. Professor, Deptt. Of Pathology is carrying out a research study on “SENSITIVITY OF MICRO-ORGANISM TOWARD VARIOUS ANTIBIOTIC IN URINARY TRACT INFECTION”. This study is focused on isolation of micro-organism responsible as a prime causative factor for UTI and their sensitivity toward various antibiotics.
