Events
1. Innovative Curriculum in Academics
Designing, formulation and implementation of the syllabus based on the new curriculum has widen the spectrum of the students. Based on the syllabi, methodology for making highly effective teaching tool have been formulated in the form of activities.
2. Resources for Academic Activities
Recent updates, research in- house projects to have exposure to optimization of experiments with statistical analysis followed by the documentation of the work as an extension activities are implemented. The department is pioneered to have functional link with ISCA (Indian Science Congress, Bhopal Chapter) for various sponsored activities.
3. Initiative towards faculty development programme
The teachers are considered as a very powerful tool to have a knowledge-based society. In a series of teachers orientation guest lecture, the department has taken initiative to organize a talk cum verified structure on teaching learning process.
4. Good Practices- Importance of Standards in Laboratories, Manufacturing for easy certification
An interdisciplinary programme of models on ‘Design your own Laboratory’ model competition on designing of lab and the standards considered during lab establishment. One should proceed according to the approved Good Practices norms for a certified product.
Dr H V Murukgar, Laboratory Safety Officer in IVRI, Bhopal was invited to introduced with the rules, safety and standards to be kept in mind while setting up of a laboratory.
5. Interdisciplinary Awareness Programme on Unfolding of Nature
Every bit of human life has emerged from our nature. A messaged competition on ‘Unfolding of Nature’ through newer ideas, slogans, poetry with colours of life. Humanity towards our nature could be saved by understanding nature.
6. The Introduction of Galleries
An unique approach based on the trial to explore students talent. The department faculties have introduced a gallery for student to display the artist hiding inside them. Another News Paper gallery for students to disseminate the recent advances in the field of science or technologies to have latest updates is displayed on this news paper section.
7. Industrial /Educational Visits are designed and organized as per the syllabi
